Real women, real stories, real lives
Every woman's experience of hormone health is unique. Behind every symptom is a real person navigating a journey that deserves to be heard and taken seriously. Hormone health doesn't look the same for everyone, and this is what Balance+AI was built to support.
Do you recognise yourself?
We’ve spent a long time listening to women. To those who’ve spent years being told their symptoms are stress, or age, or just something to get on with. To those who suspect something hormonal is going on but don’t know where to start. To those who are just about managing, but know they could feel so much better.
From those conversations, we’ve built a library of 32 stories across different ages, different life stages, different symptoms and different experiences. Some of the women are perimenopausal. Some are younger and navigating conditions that have nothing to do with age but everything to do with hormones. Some have been dismissed by their GP. Some are only just beginning to join the dots.
They’re fictional, but every one is grounded in real experiences. Each story has been shaped by independent research from Newson Global and insights gathered from more than 50,000 patients at Newson Clinics. As a result, these aren’t imagined scenarios. Rather they reflect the real patterns, symptoms and journeys that Dr Louise Newson and her team encounter every day.
And the chances are, you’ll find yourself in more than one of them.
Finding your way
Browse the stories below. Read the ones that feel familiar. When something resonates – a symptom, a feeling, a situation that sounds like yours – that’s your starting point.
Each profile links to tailored AI prompts plus articles, podcasts and research that speak directly to that experience. Every article, every insight, every AI conversation can be saved to build a picture that is entirely your own.
This isn’t a diagnosis. It’s a starting point. A way of understanding what might be happening in your body, what questions are worth asking and how to feel more prepared and more confident when you do.
Because the more you understand your hormones, the better equipped you are to take control of your health.
Your journey, your way
No two women will take the same path through this page.
That’s the point.
You might start with one profile and end up saving content from three others. You might find an article that changes how you think about a symptom you’ve had for years. You might use Balance+AI to ask the question you’ve never quite known how to raise with your doctor.
However you use it, this is your space. Take your time. Follow what feels relevant. And let the picture build naturally. We know that understanding your hormone health isn’t a single moment. It’s a journey, and this is exactly the right place to start.
